The deep brown vamps and counters are Chromexcel leather from the Horween Tannery in Chicago, the tops and leaves are glazed kid leather from Schrut & Asch in Massachusetts.

A welted-construction ladies’ boot, the leaf veins and plant tendrils are hand-embroidered silk and metal-wrapped silk threads.
